This final class will describe the importance and basic components of a risk management plan, quality program and safety program. It will also describe the importance of and methods for establishing good project team relationships. We will cover factors to consider when preparing for project start and the components of the 7 steps of scheduling. We will describe methods for effectively managing change and finally, we will describe the project closeout process.

Right Environment: Human Resources & Safety

This session will focus on properly managing and retaining employees. We will cover the importance of proper documentation, the components of a good job description and how to use it to assess potential candidates, how to assess interview questions against EEO laws, and describe the importance and components of an effective on-boarding process. We will also discuss best practices for motivating and retaining employees.
